We are all rupanugas. The followers of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu are the followers of Rupa Gosvami. Lord Caitanya Mahapabhu showed what bhakti is, but Srila Rupa Goswami explained what bhakti is. "Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu" is the most important book, it explains how to reach the level of understanding "Ujjvala-nilamani". We have to clearly understand the path that leads us to the goal. Understanding that God is all powerful is cheating because you want to exploit God, you want Him to fulfill your desire. The nature of God is such that He is sweet and beautiful. If we want to understand God, first we have to understand that He is all-attractive, all-beautiful, and all-merciful. When we have this conception of God, we have a chance to get rid of our cheating propensities within the heart. If the essence of God is beauty, then the highest experience of God that we have when we approach God, or when we have a real functional relationship with Him must be of this aesthetic nature. The appreciation of His beauty is the real relationship with God. Rasa means the aesthetic pleasure that we experience when we come close to something very beautiful, it is a spiritual experience.
